Christmas Mustard Fruits Recipe

Ingredients:

3/4 c of water
1/3 c of vinegar
3/4 c of sugar (brown)
1/4 c of juice (lemon)
1 Tbsp of mustard (Coleman’s, Mild English)
1 pc of garlic clove; crushed or minced
6 pcs of cloves (whole)
1/8 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
1/4 kl of pear (fresh); peeled and cored
2 pcs of tamarillos; peeled
150 gms of apricots (glace); chopped
100 gms of figs (glace); chopped
100 gms of prunes (glace); chopped
50 gms of cherries (glace); chopped
100 gm of pineapple (glace); chopped

Instructions:

Combine water, sugar, vinegar, and juice inside a saucepan; simmer till sugar has dissolved. Add garlic, mustard, cinnamon, and cloves; stir them well.

Add pears, tamarillos, apricots, figs, prunes, cherries, and pineapples; simmer it for ten mins or till fruits become tender.

To store, pour onto sterilized containers; seal tightly. They could be kept for 1-2 months inside the refrigerator.
