Beer Batter Turkey Recipe
Ingredients:
1.5 c of all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp of salt
3/4 c of flat beer
1 c oil
1/4 c of jellied sauce cranberry-sauce
2 tsps of baking-powder
A dash of pepper
2.5 c of cooked turkey; sliced into large pieces
1 small apple; peeled, cored & sliced
1 Tbsp of honey
Instructions:
Mix flour, pepper, baking powder & salt in mixing bowl. Pour beer in ’til mixture turns smooth. Heat the oil in large-sized skillet. Dip apples & turkey cuts into batter & have them evenly coated.
Separate the pieces slowly then you fry in batches in well-heated oil ’til golden-brown. Drain them on paper-towels.
Beat jellied sauce & honey in bowl ’til smoothened. Pass around as a dip w/ prepared dish.
